Melior red wine is to a table what a little black dress is to a wardrobe. They are contemporary classics that work in any situation. And more, accompanied by some starters such as cured meats, cheese, or finger food.
This oak-fermented wine comes from our own plots located in Ribera del Duero's Golden Mile, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. This wine goes down well with friends and is characterised by a light woody taste due to its ageing in new oak barrels for 6 months. It is perfect for a social drink, aperitifs, and cured meats.
Meat is also a great ally when it comes to enhancing Melior's attributes.
Visual stage: It displays an imposing layer of dark purple hues with a youthful purple rim, very clean and bright.
Olfactory stage: Ripe red fruits with spices such as liquorice, coffee, and vanilla. It has a bulky and intense body, yet is lively and fresh, with an excellent level of tannins.
Tasting stage: Sweet tannins on the palate, with fruity sensations and hints of cocoa, coconut, vanilla and clean wood, it has a long and persistent finish.
